EMERGENCY HAUL OUT! (Our boat is SINKING!) [RED SEAS]

This was not the video we expected to make this week. After spending almost three months in the boatyard in New Zealand, we were finally excited to get back in the water and start exploring the Bay of Islands before our departure...but Indioko had other plans and we had to turn around and make an emergency run straight back to the boatyard instead.

We were so disappointed to realise that we were taking on water...not from our thru hulls this time, but a leaking rudder seal. There was no other option - we had to haul out again and get these things replaced...but of course things didn't go to plan and we found ourselves getting stuck on the hard for longer than we hoped.

What a challenge it was to make this episode, but we hope you enjoyed it!

Remember if you'd like to come and sail with us in Greece this September, there is one cabin left - check out www.red-seas.con/greece for more information on the Odyssey Sailing Festival. It's a fantastic week on the water with like minded people where you can have a laugh, enjoy some fantastic company and see what boat life is really all about.
