We are currently refitting our Leopard catamaran that has carried us halfway around the world to New Zealand. We have been working on replacing our fixed 3-blade propellers with new Gori folding props, and while we were doing that job we decided to upgrade our cutlass bearings as well. We found a company in Auckland, Henley's, who make polymer cutlass bearings and they gave us a great tip on how to install them...using liquid nitrogen!
We have never seen this done before but it sounded way too much fun to ignore so we gave it a go and managed not to cause too much damage. Join us as we figure out how to install our new cutlass bearings and Gori propellers (and watch until the end to see what we did with all the leftover liquid nitrogen!)
Thanks for all your support in this refit. We honestly couldn't do it without you, so thanks for watching, subscribing and hyping this video - it all helps us continue to make content.
