Aftermath of cyclone Vaianu - thankfully the system has now passed us and all is well. We saw high winds yesterday and today with heavy rain all night. Plenty of leaks in the boat that will need to be repaired but thankfully nothing major.
We’ve heard stories from all across the north island with lots of people facing similar conditions, some much worse, so we’re grateful the storm moved further east and stayed offshore more than expected. Hope you’re ok wherever you are and that damage is minimal as this system moves on.
