They think they can fix me – HELP! I’m worried! - Episode 1

🦜 Dear Diary...

This is the very first chapter in my story.

My name is Parrot, a 37ft steel Reinke Super 10 sailing boat, and after years of neglect in a boatyard up north of the UK, two slightly optimistic humans named Graham and Rachel decided it would be a good idea to buy me and bring me back to life.

Personally, I think they've completely underestimated what they've let themselves in for. But time will tell I guess....

In this first episode, you'll see how they found me, the other boats they viewed before me, and the moment they decided I was the project for them. You'll also get a glimpse inside and discover why they may have just purchased the biggest floating to-do list of their lives.

This entire series is told from my perspective as I document my restoration journey, share my history, and gently judge my humans as they learn boat restoration the hard way.

Most importantly, we're hoping the power of YouTube can help uncover my past.

If you recognise me, know anything about my history, previous owners, where I was built, where I've sailed, or how I ended up in the UK, please get in touch using the links below.

Please like, subscribe and share my story far and wide. The more people who see me, the better chance we have of finding my original owner and piecing together my history.

Until next time...
