Sailors Living off the Sea on a Remote Island | S04E43

We decided to sail around the world 6 years ago after hearing and reading cliché sailor stories about sailing to remote islands, eating the freshest sushi while underway, living off of what we catch and building epic bonfires on deserted beaches with other world travelers. It wasn’t until this last week that all of these things actually happened to us over the course of 2 days which will go down in our book as two of the best days of our cruising life!

Atticus is a 30 foot Allied Seawind Ketch built by Thomas Gillmer in 1963. We bought Atticus for $5000 and have been slowly improving her and living aboard full time for the last 6 years.
