We spend a day sailing in perfect conditions to reach our favorite anchorage, where we drop the hook and settle in to enjoy the simple pleasures of sailboat life. We meet some local kids who take us on a wild hike into the jungle, but we have no idea what we are in for!
Atticus is a 30 foot Allied Seawind Ketch built by Thomas Gillmer in 1963. We bought Atticus for $5000 and have been slowly improving her and living aboard full time for the last 6 years.
