I worry a lot while we sail around the world
I worry about running into reefs
I worry about needing a hospital in the middle of nowhere
I worry about hurricanes and squalls
But lately what I’ve been worrying about the most… is foreign governments
Due to some issues with insurance documents and expired licenses, we’ve been unsuccessfully trying to check our boat into Greece for over a week. And after exhausting every solution we could think of we have one final idea to try, one last hail mary which, if it succeeds, will open the door to the Mediterranean’s most beautiful cruising ground, and if it fails… well then we’re F@^&*%#
And to further complicate the situation Desiree’s sister and Fiancee are flying all the way from the States to visit us. So this week the four of us… well 5… ok 6
The six of us are on a journey to appease the Greek goddess of bureaucracy and hopefully become legal visitors of this beautiful country.
