In this episode we document how we organised Panama’s first ever sailing regatta in the town of Bocas Del Toro. We set a goal to get 30 boats racing in the bay, and got a total of 32 boats on the day. All proceeds went to the Give and Surf non-profit organisation, where we managed to raise $1,373. This organisation aims at helping children education in the wider Bocas Del Toro Region, and it was very rewarding donating to such a good cause.
SV Parlay is a hurricane damaged 2012 Lagoon 450 Catamaran bought in Tortola, BVI at the beginning of 2018. Colin and his friend spent 4 months getting her seaworthy, before setting sail across the Caribbean. Follow our journey as we continue to fix her and eventually circumnavigate the globe!
