What should have been an “easy” leg quickly turned into our most disastrous passage yet. From equipment failures to relentless storms, it felt like everything that could go wrong did. Rob battles through a painful kidney stone while Shannon is knocked out by a debilitating migraine — all while we face four straight days of intense, punishing weather.

We are a suburban blended family that has raised our 3 older children and now want to travel the world. After planning and saving for the past 6 years, we are now embracing our dream of sailing around the world on our Leopard 45 sailing catamaran.
