Favourite tool of the day - the hammer.
In this episode we remove the propshaft so that we can change the shaft seal to a more modern dripless system. So we had to figure out how to remove a prop and the the propshaft, which involved a lesson in patience removing some rusty bolts.
And in the process we decided the cutlass bearing should be changed. It made sense as we were already out of the water and the propshaft already removed. So then we had to figure out how to remove the cutlass bearing, and how to replace it.
Then we finished with some glorious prop sanding and polishing. I was particularly proud of the finished result.
