This week on Sailing Nandji, we have been anchored inside Jurassic park for a while and opting to pick up anchor and move Nandji into the inner lagoon of Wayag, trying to find a new perfect place to call home, things go horribly wrong… With strong gully winds we slotted Nandji into a tight sandy hole when we realise we have no gears… With no way of manoeuvring Nandji, some quick thinking was needed as we drifted towards the rocks…

We are a young couple with a dog, who with no sailing experience, bought a yacht, got it blue water cruising ready and set off sailing around the Pacific! We just arrived to Indonesia after cruising the Pacific islands. We departed Australia 12 months ago and have since explored some amazing countries, met some amazing people and experienced cultures, dived pristine reefs, surfed solo in the middle of no where, spent weeks at sea, dealt with storms, big waves, strong winds and had the time of our life doing it! The adventure is just beginning as we sail West with the trades!
