The Three White Ladies: A Solo Sailing Journey Around Anglesey
In this episode of Sailing Melody, I set out on a solo passage around the north coast of Anglesey to find the elusive "Three White Ladies." These massive white towers at Carmel Head and West Mouse have guided sailors for generations, but in poor visibility, they can be surprisingly hard to spot.
This voyage became about more than just finding navigational marks; it was a chance to test my solo sailing skills, integrate new technology like the Orca system, and reflect on the "Venn diagram" of health and resilience. From the atmospheric fog of Puffin Island to the stunning clarity of the Skerries, it was a journey of adaptation and discovery.
