In this episode of Sailing into Freedom, we answer the “complaints” from last week and double down on what the channel does best: perfectly serious “nature documentaries” that somehow keep getting photobombed by girls, sand and bikinis. We revisit the legendary Scandinavian crew days – clogged toilets, cave-snorkelling near-death moments, mystery crew turning up asleep on the bow, and bushwalks where “suitable clothing” is always a safety priority, of course.
Meanwhile our Swedish correspondent Henrik takes us on a tour of the Swedish archipelago and winter boat storage: 100,000+ islands, ice-bound yachts, shrink-wrapped boats, strange double-hulled rigs, and a boating season so short it makes every day on the water count. It’s classic Sailing into Freedom: real cruising life, dumb decisions, problem solving, culture, comedy, and just a tiny bit of “nice sand”.
