Isabella was dirty, so Karen gave her a good scrubbing… and wow, what a squirter. With soap, suds, and a whole lot of hose action, she got the decks gleaming and even gave the solar panels a good rub-down. Things got wet. Very wet.
Meanwhile, Steve wrestled once again with the never-ending Meisner winch saga. He stripped it down, cleaned each piece with diesel and a toothbrush, and found more bad news: a bent clevis pin and a gear missing teeth. Finding parts for this classic is nearly impossible—looks like this winch might just win the battle. For now.
Between the soap and frustration, we managed some planking, stretching, and a load of boat laundry—which got us thinking about upgrading to a mini portable washer. Is it worth it? Time (and sweat) will tell.
And of course, we snuck in a little dancing to keep the good vibes flowing.
