Our guests from Norway are boarding their flight to San Jose so it is time for us to head into the marina at Puntarenas. This will be our trickiest marina entrance yet as we need to time high tide due the shallow river basin and may only have seven feet of shallow water under us. The crew will have to navigate these shallow waters carefully. Gargoyle draws six foot eight inches so let us hope there are no large rocks on the bottom. With the help of a pilot boat, we snake our way up this shallow river mouth to the Costa Rica Yacht Club. This is going to be quite the adventure snaking through the shallow Puntarenas peninsula.
