How many boat projects you can do in one day [Ep.32]

How hard is to refit old sailboat. Do you see the end?What is your motivation? In this episode Ella and Luna visited Peck in marina. Peck is trying to finish as much as he can. You know how the things are on the boat, always something needs to be done in order to something else to be done too. We started in last episode and will finish installation in next if we find everything what we lost 😉 Hope we are not the only one. Let us know if you lose on the boat everything! Peck is explaining how you can stain wood and even we are trying to find the best way to get perfect matched for wood that is not teak but to look like a teak.

we’ve been working hard all the time. Boat is almost done, and we are planning to finally start sailing in 3-4 weeks. We decided to continue showing you our refitting progress but just in a little bit faster way so we can all enjoy together in our sailing adventures soon. This is the hardest part of preparing the boat for sailing, everything else is less painful process.
So, enjoy in our Refit VLOG for next few weeks until we start our weekly Sailing adventures again.
From beginning we totally changed the look of the original Irwin 37 Salon (that we didn’t like at all) and we are making something that we will all enjoy in the upcoming boat lifestyle years. Even we are so close to finish Interior it seems like never ending story. At this point we just want to finish it and leave, but it is not that easy. It’s been more than 36 months since we start this FULL Refit and as we are getting closer to the finishing line it is getting more difficult to focus on what’s next project. So, in this video after we listed all 47 projects (that we can think about) and wrote them on the POST IT so we can track them, our goal is to remove as much stickers as we can daily. From this episode we will be able to remove it one by one and have that good feeling – something is DONE!
ABOUT US:
We are a family of 4 – Peck, Ella, Luna and our dog Bobby. We moved to Florida from Europe 8 years ago and have since been living the American dream. We built our yacht canvas small business from scratch. We opened our canvas shop, bought our first sailboat, restored that boat, and sailed around the Florida coast. In 2017 we took the amazing opportunity in Texas of finding our dream boat which is a Morgan 45/1. Our original dream was to restore that boat and sail the Pacific, but our plans quickly turned around when SV EnVera fell into our arms from a friend. After adopting EnVera we started towards a new and exciting path. We wanted to give her a new life that she deserves. We are restoring sailboat EnVera with a plan of filming sailing videos and our adventures around the world on a fully restored 1974 Irwin 37CC. We are planning to sail across the Atlantic in May of 2023 and sail back to Europe where we are originally from. But it is long journey to finish our boat. We started restoring our boat back in December of 2018. Decided to close our business in October 2019 so we can focus on the restoration 24/7 and start sailing as soon as we can. You know how is with sailboats – everything takes 3 times longer than you think it will and everything costs 3 times more than you plan! From our boat to wherever you maybe we hope you enjoy watching our restoration from the beginning. We will be getting better and better in editing our videos so forgive us for some imperfections, since we are new to this.
