SDA138 Diving, Sailing, Drama and D’oh!

In this thrilling episode, we wrap up our visit to neighboring Guana Cay South with an exciting dive on the wide coral reef alongside the island before running over to Black Point for errands while raising anchor. Sadly, I lose my treasured necklace during this time and we all cry off camera as we try to move on.

Quick Sail to Jack’s Bay

After a quick sail that has us bouncing across the water due to some wind, we arrive at the secluded little Anchorage of Jack’s Bay. Once there, I decide to bake fresh bread in my wonderful bread maker, as a true sailor would.

Dancing and Rum

To celebrate our arrival at this tranquil spot, we spend some time dancing to the music in my iPods. There may have been rum involved – you can say that.

Losing a Cherished Possession

We later discover one of the not-so-happy parts of our trip when I realize that I have lost my cherished necklace. This incident truly stings, and you can hear the emotional reactions off-camera as we all try to maintain a positive attitude.

Exploring Jack’s Bay

To make the most of our time in Jack’s Bay, I decide to investigate an unusual rock formation that seems out of place in this beautiful Anchorage. Upon further inspection, I determine that the rock is actually our anchor that must have come loose.

Reflecting on the Journey

In this episode of Sailing Dark Angel, we conclude our visit to beautiful Guana Cay South with an unforgettable dive along the expansive coral reef. A short sail brings us to Jacks Bay, where I whip up a batch of fresh bread in my beloved breadmaker, dancing to tunes on my iPod... perhaps sans clothing? There might have been some rum involved. Just sayin'.
