Is This Montenegro’s BEST View? Kotor Cable Car & Friends Aboard 23 Pioneer
Hi and welcome, we are John and Sharon a mid 50's retired couple who brought a boat to live on and are currently sailing in the mediterranean.
This week a tour of the Bay of Kotor with old friends, a hike up the mountain, and a few boat jobs on 23 Pioneer. We cruise past Our Lady of the Rocks and Perast, then explore Kotor Old Town, where we find hidden alleyways, tiny wild tortoises and a restaurant that was well worth the wait. After a last night in Porto Montenegro and an emotional goodbye to our guests, we hike 75 minutes to the Kotor cable car for a breathtaking view of the bay from above. Back on board, it’s time for the practical side of liveaboard life. We fix the fridge for €350, change the outboard fuel filter, and find the cross-threaded fuel bulb that was causing our dinghy problems.
