May 12, 2025 by Sailing Catamaran Escape | Language: EN Play Time: 00:18:00 | SAILING YOUTUBERS

Setting sail from St. Bees Island our intention was to head for the Percy Islands but an uncertain weather forecast meant a change in plan.
We anchored at Curlew Island part of the Guardfish Cluster group.
Heavy fog saw us depart for the Duke Islands, anchoring at scenic Hunter Island.
The following morning we set off again to round Cape Townshend, encountering whales along the way. Going through the night we got a bit of a fright, being buzzed by a helicopter, after straying into the Shoalwater Bay Military Zone before arriving at our destination, Great Keppel Island in the early hours.
