It’s been over 2 years since the last haul out, so “Escape” is well due for some maintenance.
First on the list was replacing the broken window that was damaged in the storm as we left The Solomon Islands on our crossing of The Coral Sea ( see Episode 56).
After sailing down the coast from Townsville we were booked into “Boatworks” at Coomera on the Gold Coast.
Other jobs besides the windows was new antifoul, servicing the feathering props, replacing anchor shackle and reversing the chain.
