After 41 hours at sea and 264 nautical miles from Sicily, we wake up in Argostoli, Kefalonia — finally back in Greece.
This episode is about settling back into life at anchor after a winter in Marina di Ragusa. We do the usual boat jobs, go ashore for our first Greek dinner, move to a beach anchorage outside Argostoli, and then sail south toward Zakynthos.
On the way, we stop at Navagio Beach, also known as Shipwreck Beach, before continuing along the coast to explore more of the island. Not everything goes smoothly — we crash the drone, search for a replacement, and still manage to find the rhythm we came here for: sailing, paddleboarding, pump foiling, swimming, and quiet evenings at anchor.
We also see the loggerhead turtles around Zakynthos — Caretta caretta — one of the reasons this area is so special.
After months in Sicily and a winter tied to the marina, Greece starts to feel real again. A boat, a bay, and the season properly beginning.
