100 year Storm surge incident taking place during the night between 20th and 21st of october in the danish and german regions of the Baltic. Prediction of extremely high tide and strong winds from east. The community was well prepared, but damages was predicted and expected. The reason behind the high tide, was an addition of strong westerly winds blowing a wave of water up in the northern part of the Baltic. Afterwoods the wind changed and then blowing very strong from easterly direction, making this wave of water coming back with a stronger force.
