In this episode we head to Honeymoon Harbor in the Bahamas. We realize the hurricane is changing course so we leave to the Berry Islands. The predicted winds and waves were not what they said they would be, and we beat into the wind the entire sail. What was supposed to be a half day sail took over 24 hours and an overnight passage.
In the process, one of our engines died and we realized we had wrapped the prop. Out in the open ocean, Steve faced his fears and dove under the boat to cut the line.
We barely made it to Great Harbour Cay with zero fuel left. We were all exhausted but so thankful it was over. We learned so much on this trip, and the king of wing might change the way he wing's it going forward.
