Exploring Atlantis, Bahamas Episode 9
We sail to Atlantis and dock Banana Pancakes. We get ready and head to dinner. After dinner we check out all of the aquariums at Atlantis. The next morning we head to the waterpark and have a blast riding the waterslides all day. We meet some friends on the beach and invite them to dinner the following night. That night we take Malia to the casino where she wins big time! The next morning is Easton's 11th Birthday! He goes on a run with Steve and then comes back in time to jump on a fishing boat and go deep sea fishing for the day. We go to dinner that night for Easton's birthday. The following day we untie our lines and head to Rose Island to anchor for a few days. A couple nights there was enough as it was super rollie. We then head for the Nassau Harbour Marina to dock and get the fuel tanks polished and the algae removed. After re-provisioning, running errands and finishing up boat projects it's time to head to the Exumas.

This is the REAL & RAW reality of living on a sailboat off-grid! Episodes come out every Saturday! Steve & Kami had a dream to buy a sailboat and travel the world when we retired. We spent 15 years working multiple jobs, living BELOW our means, saving every penny we could and investing in real-estate. Well the year of Covid hit and we thought, what the hell let's freaking go, kids and all! The first thing Steve said when he walked onto our boat "It smells like freedom!" We completed our first year of sailing, sold our sailboat Banana Pancakes, in hopes of purchasing a newer one. We didn't find the right boat so we headed back to Idaho. It's been 2 years since then and we are once again ready to go, this time for at least 5 years. We are currently boat shopping and plan on setting sail soon for Seson 2 of Banana Pancakes.
