In this episode we leave Miami, Florida and head to Key Biscayne. We continue to have boat issues and repairs. We are all at our wits end and question whether boat life is really for us. Hurricane Ian is on the move and headed for Florida, so we make the quick decision to head to the Bahamas.

We spent 15 years working multiple jobs, living BELOW our means, saving every penny we could and investing in real-estate. Well the year of Covid hit and we thought, what the hell let's freaking go, kids and all! The first thing Steve said when he walked onto our boat "It smells like freedom!" We completed our first year of sailing, sold our sailboat Banana Pancakes, in hopes of purchasing a newer one. We didn't find the right boat so we headed back to Idaho. It's been 2 years since then and we are once again ready to go, this time for at least 5 years. We are currently boat shopping and plan on setting sail soon for Seson 2 of Banana Pancakes.
