This year the crew of SV Avocet had the opportunity to participate in the Home Port Regatta, a fun race for cruisers and liveaboards pulled together by cruisers and liveaboards! The best part about it is all the proceeds benefitted the Channel islands Wildlife Institute.
Although the wind was not in our favor, it was a fun sail with fun people and we can not wait for next year. Enjoy this little recap of us struggling to fill our sails and get in the groove of racing our Cheoy Lee 41, Avocet instead of our usual “race boat” the Victory 21.
