The town that fooled the British!! | Episode 27

In this episode, we arrive at St.Michaels, the very famous town that fooled the British!!

We explore the picturesque and welcoming town that boasts an abundance of character and intrigue, set in the Chesapeake it is well worth a visit or a holiday destination

After mingling amongst the shops and strolling the town James and I visit a cafe where the smell of cinnamon and all things sweet resonate.. James opts for a blood mary packed with shells and anchor straws! Never before seen!! 😉

We stroll through the lanes of the houses dating back to the 1700s.. we stop for lunch at the very famous CRAB CLAW restaurant and James nearly has a ‘Pretty Woman Moment’..

We head back to Aequus and continue our journey to Annapolis where we have a berth booked. However, our organisation goes to pot when we spend much of the afternoon trying to hail the marina, but to no avail and get ‘left out in the cold’, or in this case, we anchor in the middle of the inlet overnight.

The next day we manage to get into the marina and receive the B&G repair guys and get started on much of the fixing and cleaning on Aequus.
