Parting ways with a boat that you’ve put your blood, sweat, and tears into is never an easy thing to do – especially when it’s been a close part of your family’s life for years.
We say our goodbyes to, what will probably always be, our favorite boat that we’ll ever own. Our 1979 Endeavour 32, Sandflea, has been very good to us. She’s taken us to far away places, kept us safe when things got scary, and enabled us to dip our toe into this wonderful thing that is “the cruising lifestyle”.
What’s next for us? Well, we’re starting all over. We now find ourselves without a boat once again. Now, the search begins again for a new boat, a bigger boat, a sailboat, and one that will take us new places.
