SAILING TO THE ABACOS: Hard Work & A Little Barf | Sailboat Story 130

It’s always surprising how much work it takes to make a passage – even between the closely spaced island groups of the Bahamas. This video shows all of the preparations we make as we stage for our crossing from Egg Island in Eleuthera to Little Harbour Cut in the Abacos.

Tambi has always struggled with seasickness. Even Molly has been affected to a lesser extent. The only seasickness medicine we keep onboard is Dramamine. While it does work for Tambi, it also completely knocks her out. We need to find something that works well, but also doesn’t keep her from being able to help with the boat while we’re underway. Maybe Bonine? We’ll see.
