Cruisers often get “stuck” in this slice of paradise; after months of sailing down island where everything costs an arm and a leg and shipping is virtually impossible, the ease, convenience, and low cost of everything here causes many to catch up on as many boat jobs as possible and stock up on the endless choice of groceries. But it’s not just that…there’s a very European style and sense of small-town community on the French side that is SO comfortable.
