This week, we arrive in Lagos, and have many thing to fix: our autopilot isn’t right and our radar is unusable.
After cruising all along the coast of Portugal in the fog, we also decided to install a hailer on Polar Seal’s mast.
We were so happy to find a yard that was responsive, spoke English really well, and went the extra mile to help us solve the issue. Ricardo, Arturo and Luis from Sopromar, we are forever grateful for your professionalism!!!
As opposed to what our previous electrician told us and after a thourogh inspection on Artur’s part, it turned out that our radar is broken.
We install a hailer on the mast, and have tons of fun testing it. So much fun in fact, that we use the hailer to communicate with our oat friends on Bliss, who from the other side of Lagos Marina invited us over for drinks.
