Herby and Maddie made landfall in Key Biscayne, FL after crossing the Atlantic for their second time with the goal of motoring up the ICW for 1000 miles with an electric motor! Along the way, they switched their lead acid batteries to Lithium, and greatly increased their solar array to allow for quicker charging from the sun without the need to rely on fossil fuels to move their sailboat and liveaboard home up the East Coast of the United States. Now, they are arriving in Norfolk, VA where they will convert their boat back to the seaworthy queen she is in preparation to sail once more!
