It’s here!! Season 4 starts off with a bang as we leave the Azores and embark on our journey to Porto, Portugal! The weather is not ideal for leaving, but the window is closing on our time to cross. 10 months on the hard has reset Maddie’s body, and she is very seasick for the entire first week. It rains daily, and the waves send us bouncing around like a bathtub toy. To make matters worse, it’s cooooold! We explain our route and discuss all of the differences between the circumstances of this trip and the crossing to the Azores. We do our best to keep our spirits up, but it’s a very different journey from before.
