Dock lines are a crucial component in mooring your boat in your slip. Beit tying to a full length finger pier or against a stone seawall, how you tie up will determine how safely your boat remains there.
In this video, Herby and Maddie go over the basics of entering and exiting a slip, as well as choosing various methods to tie up in the common slip setups. They discuss T-head, single slips, and double slips, as well as fixed and floating piers with respect to tidal variances.
