As a family who refuse to let Coronavirus stop us travelling full time, we have sparked a bit of interest in mainstream media lately. Both Newsweek and Lonely Planet commissioned travel writing from us and we were interviewed by the lovely Anna Louise from BBC Radio Kent who invites ‘adventurous, inspiring, outdoorsy guests’ on to her radio show to talk about their life.
So, this is a slight departure from our usual format, but as we’ve recently hit a 10,000 YouTube milestone and it’s coming up to our 3rd travel anniversary we thought we’d take the opportunity do a bit of a retrospective – showing our transition from land to sea and our experience of sailing the Mediterranean over the last three years. There’s a little about our time during the lockdown in Spain and our experience of homeschooling the kids on the boat.. while featuring some previously unseen footage.
We hope other families will take encouragement and inspiration from this blog and despite these strange and difficult times will NOT settle down, but instead take to the sea, live their dream and a life of adventure.
