All of our sailboat repair and maintenance blogs are now hosted on our dedicated maintenance channel, MOTHERSHIP MAINTENANCE Check it out here: https://www.youtube.com/c/mothershipmaintenance

An edited version of this video is now hosted here: https://youtu.be/06eZHS4W2LA

In Pt01 of this series I replaced the old depth transducers with the Airmar NMEA 2000 Intelligent Triducer. https://youtu.be/OS8Vh17UH08

In Pt02 of this series I swapped out the old B&G mast head unit, for the Raymarine short arm wind vane transducer. https://youtu.be/nC2v-8JXUpQ

In THIS maintenance blog (3rd and final in this video series) I upgrade the old NMEA0183 B&G transducer instrument controller and dials for the new NMEA 2000 (Seatalknng) Raymarine ITC-5 unit and i70 Instrument Display and wire in the transducers. I also connect the NMEA0183 converter to the backbone and splice in the old GPS unit and ST7000 autopilot.. and get rid of a lot of redundant wiring in the process!
