We finally made it to the Bahamas! 🇧🇸
After a smooth landfall in Inagua, the adventure really begins as we prep passage food and set sail on a 24-hour run toward the remote Ragged Islands. But of course… it doesn’t go to plan.
With strong winds and fast sailing, we find ourselves racing toward tricky, shallow waters way ahead of schedule. We need daylight to navigate safely — and we’re arriving too early.
After a rough ending to the passage, we’re finally greeted with that classic Bahamian blue water, stingrays, and turtles… but paradise doesn’t come easy. As we attempt to anchor between Little Ragged and Ragged Island through a shallow, narrow cut, we run aground.
