Sailing the Spanish Virgin Islands takes a magical turn—bioluminescent bays, whales off the bow, and a detour from the USVI we’ll never forget.
We leave the US Virgin Islands and sail five hours off course for one night, just to see what’s said to be the brightest bioluminescent bay in the world. The next morning, on our way to Culebra, we’re treated to a wild encounter—whales right off the bow.
