In the latest episode of Leading the Escapade, Jason and Jess embark on a challenging journey across the Atlantic Ocean, from Cape Verie to Barbados. Facing a range of difficult conditions and equipment failures, this is not your usual relaxing sail. Their adventure begins with predictions of rough weather ahead. The Doldrums & Breaking Point The couple quickly finds themselves facing challenging conditions, including 4 to 5-meter swells and 38-knot gusts. Jess says: Quote: This is when things started to break…the autopilot has stopped working, not just the boat but also our spirits. Navigating through the Issues The injury adds to a list of problems, but Jess pushes through the pain and they continue with their journey.
