Join us on a 24-hour sailing passage from Guadeloupe to Saint Martin. Just as we're about to leave the anchorage, our engine fails for the first time, but we manage to fix it before setting off—hoping that’s the only issue we’ll face.
However, as we sail further from land, we grow increasingly worried about our sick cat, with no easy access to help. We finally arrive in Saint Martin, where we celebrate Christmas with cruising friends, missing our family back home in Australia.
