Course – It doesn’t matter what you’re doing, if you’re not going the right way, what’s the point?
Crew position – If you’re sat in the wrong place you could be upside down before you know it!
Sails – of course we need to get the engine started if we want to move at all!
So yes, for catamaran, hobiecat or any other type of boat, this is possibly the most important lesson, for beginners, intermediate or maybe even advanced catamaran sailors or racing sailors need to be reminded.
