STRONG Wind Hobie 16 Rolling Spinnaker
The Hobie 16 rolling spinnaker test just got wild – strong wind, full power, double trapeze, and a full-on pitchpole!
The wind was up and it was time to push the limits with the Hobie 16 rolling spinnaker setup! This session was fast, wild and full of action – we double trapezed with the kite up, gybed in big breeze, and even managed a full pitchpole during a gybe!
After recovering, the wind kept building and we ended up on an insane two-sail reach back to shore – full power, full commitment, full beans.
This video is the follow-up to my first rolling spinnaker test, and it’s the best look yet at what this system can do in proper wind.
