At my last two ports, I have moored at Sea Stations ( Umi no Eki) and as they were very different in style and cost I thought that some viewers would like to take a tour of each. I have stayed at several Sea Stations in Japan as well as Marinas ( where you pay) and lots of fishing ports where you don’t have to pay. While fishing ports are free, you have to moor against a wall and be adjusting your mooring lines with the tide and also have onboard a step ladder and fender boards to help you with difficult walls. Sea Stations usually have floating pontoons.
