As I mentioned in a previous episode I have had to postpone my solo crossing of the North Pacific for one year because the boat and I are not ready. I was looking into the option of sailing across with a Crew and spend the next year training on the West Coast of Canada and sail back to Japan Solo.
But alas, the hoops I had to jump through became too difficult given the short timeline. ( June is the recommended month to leave Japan waters for North American)
So it’s decided I will continue my training here in Japanese Waters and will spend the next several months exploring Japan’s waters and a myriad of islands, beaches, and harbors.
