Could you move your family to a deserted island? In 1952 Randolph Johnston did just that when he sailed from Canada to Little Harbor in the Abacos. At the time it was 100% deserted and so they moved into the caves surrounding the harbor. Eventually they built a thriving community that is still mostly isolated from the rest of the world. If you are ever in the Abacos, do not miss sailing to this little gem, you won’t regret it!
