We begin this episode in beautiful Pangkor Island, where all is good with the world. By the end of this week’s trip we’re having some issues, and this time it’s not with the boat! It’s not often you’ll hear us complain about cruising in Malaysia. In fact we have nothing but positive experiences in SE Asia as liveaboards, from the people to the culture to the food to the scenery, so it was a bit of a shock to hit a brick wall with the authorities in Penang.
