A few of our viewers have asked what we eat while aboard Temptress. The answer varies, based on our current location and how much we are actually moving the boat. As of today, we have not been to a grocery store in weeks, and for the next two days, we have to move a long distance in a short time, during rough weather, so it’s a good time to show you how we plan to eat on a trip like this using only what we have in stock on the boat.

Emily has prepped the next couple days of meals for us, so there is virtually no cooking required. In this video, she shows what things are made ahead of time, and what snack foods we pack in our cockpit “picnic box.” She also gives you a look at one of our most important “safety devices” which helps make crossings more comfortable when it’s too rough to use the head (that’s boatspeak for toilet).

Regarding our location and current adventure, A LOT has happened since our June Adventure Log, including some injuries and a lot of storm damage to Temptress, but we haven’t had the time to make decent any video about it, because now we’re dodging a hurricane, too! Until we have time to share the details on YouTube, we invite our viewers to follow along with our real-time written logs on http://Patreon.com/EmilyAndClark . Once we are in a safe harbor with good internet and no weather threats, we will give you the full story of what we’ve been through since June. Hopefully at that time, we can tell you we survived a hurricane, too.

Take care and be safe. We’ll try to do the same. –Emily and Clark
