As Hurricane Dorian made its way toward Florida, we rushed to the boat to make final preparations.

UPDATE as of 9/8/2019: Thank you to all who have been thinking about us and Temptress. We have not yet been back to our boat, but Dorian did not hit our area directly, and we likely got the equivalent of a bad thunderstorm. We will return to the boat this week to check on everything and share the results with our viewers soon.

As of this posting, our worries are less about our boat and more about the people of the Bahamas and the damage there. We were JUST in the Abacos in July, and it’s devastating to see the damage. We can’t imagine gusts over 200mph. Many neighborhoods are completely gone.

We are safe. The boat will likely get a bad thunderstorm, but no eye. We hope everyone else is safe, too.
