We live aboard our antique sailboat, Temptress, where we (Emily and Clark) fix almost everything ourselves. Today’s Capable Cruising Guide video is a follow-up to a video we made in late in 2020 describing how we connect lead and lithium batteries together in a hybrid system aboard our boat. Since that time, Clark has done a ton of research, and in the process, has invented a device that allows you to link lead and LiFePO4 batteries together in a smarter way. Now that he’s built and tested the device, it’s time to make it available to the public.
