One thing people in the Faroe Islands take seriously is rowing. A tradition that originates with the Vikings, we get a chance to see some fantastic young athletes compete in boats that haven’t changed in hundreds of years.
Then we’re off with a new friend to check out some of the oldest sailboats and tall ships in the Faroe Islands.
Of course, no sporting event would be complete without a celebration. Now we just need to keep up with our new friends. It’s 3:30 in the morning and no one is showing signs of going home!
